Songstress Kudara Debut Single “Juliet & Romeo In Tokyo” OUT NOW

Diverse Japan is always keen to help promote new talent in any field of J-culture. So it’s a great pleasure to announce the debut single of singer/songwriter Kudara entitled “Juliet & Romeo in Tokyo”  (feat. Dreadlox Holmes).

It has a smooth soulful pop groove with a catchy melody line beautifully performed by the pretty Japanese songstress. It’s a very tight arrangement – you’re gonna love it!

The song, recorded in London, was specifically written for Kudara by producer, Steve Willington (aka Dreadlox Holmes) who wanted to write something that would have a Japanese identity.

There are two vocal versions of the track: one in English, the other Japanese/English, as well as an instrumental version. Each one is available for digital download from the following links:

About Kudara:

Kudara is a Japanese singer/songwriter who came to the UK in 2010 to study English. She met songwriter/producer Dreadlox Holmes after being introduced to him through a friend and soon wrote their first song together called “Garden”. Shortly after, Kudara returned to Japan but came back to the UK in 2011 after the Japan earthquake/tsunami. The pair was quick to resume their working relationship and “Juliet & Romeo in Tokyo” was born.
