Seni is a truly ‘live’ event with so much to see and do across a busy weekend that offers something for everyone. There are numerous spectacular features and diverse live events to capture the imagination, events such as 10K Ground Clash, Fighting Spirit Film Festival, MMA League and the Action Extreme stage playing host to some of the best martial gymnasts and parcour free runners in the world in The London Parcour Open. Each live show is hosted within its zone “BoxFair”, “MMA Weekender” and “Show of Strength”. Rub shoulders with some the incredible fighting arts talent that fly in for the show from the world of film, MMA, boxing and strength sports.

This leading event has become a major part of the International Combat Sports show over the last few years and has attracted the very biggest names from across the bodybuilding, strongman and strength sports sector.
Renowned as being part of the Seni Combat Sports Expo weekend, The London international Opens is set for 13 & 14 September at the Soccerdome opp the O2 Arena. If you visit SENI and have that competitive nature then why not take your place in one of Europe’s best tournaments which includes the London International Karate Open and the London International Judo Open and many more.
Each year SENI host a range of international talent that fly in to be part of the weekend. Unlike the workshops which are free to train on, these sessions are paid for sessions but within the price of a 2 hour seminar you will also get your entry ticket into the entire show too!
Hwang Jang Lee: Hong Kong cinema legend and kicking specialist Lee is the star of classic kung fu movies such as Drunken Master with Jackie Chan and Ninja in the Dragon’s Den where he fights against Canon Lee and Hiroyuki Sanada.
Peter Aerts: 3 x K1 Grand Prix Champion, Peter Aerts is a Dutch super heavyweight kickboxer. Known for his devastating high kicks, which earned him the nickname “The Dutch Lumberjack”, he is widely considered to be one of the greatest heavyweight kickboxers ever!
Ernesto Hoost: “Mr. Perfect” is a Dutch former kickboxer and four-time K-1 World Champion, he made his debut in 1993 at the K-1 World Grand Prix 1993 and won his fourth Grand Prix title in 2002. Ernesto is back at SENI for the second time after his sell out seminar in 2008.
Michael “The Count” Bisping: Fresh from his performance of the night, defeating Cung Le in China Michael confirms his show appearance after his successful visit to the 2012 expo. A huge crowd favouite, Michael returns to teach a seminar and interact with the Combat & Strength public over the two days.
Brad “One Punch” Pickett: London Born & Bred. UFC Fighter and one of the best known and loved UK mixed martial arts fighters, Brad competes at Bantam and fly weights for the UFC and his explosive action and character has seen Dana White stating that Pickett is one of his favourite fighters to watch so standby for a fantastic seminar experience!
The Bruce Lee Tribute Weekend
Also taking place at the event is the Bruce Lee Tribute Weekend presented by Eastern Heroes who will also be re-launching the magazine popular throughout the 1990s and early 2000 featuring articles on Asian cinema. The tribute weekend celebrates the life and career of the ‘Little Dragon’ – NOT TO BE MISSED! Visitors are treated to a whole host of other exciting stuff too such as, a screening of three documentaries: Bruce Lee: The King of Kung Fu, produced by Lee expert and author Steve Kerridge (Bruce Lee: Legends of the Dragon – An Inside Look at Way of the Dragon) who will also be signing copies of his latest book Bruce Lee: The Golden Movie News, published by Hate Media, on sale on the day at £24.00, Kung Fu Killer, and Fist of Fire produced in the 1970s by the BBC. PLUS, a screening of 1973 TVB Bruce Lee Memorial Show. There’ll also be a chance for you to glance round the Bruce lee Artifact Museum Display. And to top that off, Hwang Jang Lee will be taking part in a Q&A session with Rick Baker (Saturday 2pm). Oh, and I did I mention they’ll be a chance to meet-and-greet action movie star Scott Adkins, star of Ninja 1 & 2 (co-starring Mika Hijii) and The Expendables, who will be taking part in a Q&A session too (Sunday 2pm)?!
