Japanese culture and people are really amazing, it should be on everybody’s bucket list as a place to visit for numerous reasons.
Sometimes wacky but always bundles of fun and so much history it’s worth learning Japanese just to appreciate it’s history alone.

This book would make for some great learning. While in Japan (April) this year I learned about some techniques used in certain cooking knifes were used in sword making as well.

Have to comment this, it maybe Cliche, but I love it.. it reminds me every time a sword is created it is for a different reason, and more so the craftmanship’s mood emotions feelings implemented on each sword can make a sword very unique. It is art.. beauty, we must appreciate it. Next up famous quote from a famous film.. Hattori Hanzo: ” I am finished doing what I swore an oath to God 28 years ago to never do again. I’ve created, “something that kills people.” And in that purpose, I was a success. I’ve done this because, philosophically, I am sympathetic to your aim.
